Traditional Coverage Limits.
The standard Residential Pro policy - both Broad Form and Comprehensive - includes Traditional Coverage Limits. For homeowners, the Residential Pro covers replacement value on the home. Limits for coverage on furnishings, trees and shrubs, outbuildings and emergency living expenses are calculated based on a standard percentage of that replacement value. For tenants and condominium unit owners, Traditional Coverage Limits are based on the value of your personal property. Coverage limits for other items are based on a percentage of your personal property value.
A True Single-Limit Homeowners Options for Homeowners.
Portage Mutual's Single-Limit Homeowners option can apply to both Broad and Comprehensive packages. This provides a single-limit, blanket coverage for property and personal effects. Coverage is based on the value of your home with little or no restrictions on how it should be allocated in the event of a total loss. You also get increased coverage limits on the loss of property like stamps, professional equipment, jewelry, credit cards, and more.
